Michael-Ann comes to us as a former sports columnist for Penthouse Magazine. She enjoys reporting, writing, and producing online video for Femmefan.com. Born in Canada , I grew up watching hockey, hockey and more hockey! I think I was born with skates on-hockey stick in hand. I was into Field Hockey, Ball Hockey, Track'n Field, and Football-yup! Did I mention 'Tom Boy'?
When I attended Dalhousie University to take a BA in Theatre, I felt deprived of sports. No time for that.
I'd sneak down the street to St. Mary's University, that reeked of Jocks and sports enthusiasts; I could sink my teeth into the game of Football!
I remember being asked to play on a ladies touch football team as 'Rusher" because I could run, Not because I knew the rules of the game. Nope. It was for the 'love of the game". Now that I'm living in the US or A, I've got so much Football to watch, I know the rules a whole lot more, and hey, I can throw a mean ball. I mean, I can throw!
If you don't believe me, check it out on my website, www.michaelannrowe.com , and you be the judge.
What can I say, I just love sports and when Football season comes around its four months of digging up the turf, the uniforms, the coaches, the players, and the unexpected.
Remember fellow Femmefans, you can love sports for many reasons- its all about your own perception.
