During my twenty-five years on this earth, if there's one thing that holds true, it's the fact that someone could go their entire life without knowing how to add or subtract, but if they can catch, hit or throw, they'll be more famous and wealthier than any Validvictorian from Harvard. Personally, I hate the fact that we as Americans hold these athletes up on a pedestal worshipping their careers and buying products based on their endorsements. But above all things, I'm a fan. And if there's one thing that brings people together while ripping them apart at the same time, it's sports. No matter how cool it might be to figure out a Quadratic Equation, nothing beats the exihilerating rush of watching the home team sweat one out at the last minute.
