With week one under way, we've seen surprising upsets; like the Colts loosing at home in their brand new stadium-oops, didn't mean to rub that in; the Panthers defeating the Chargers at Qualcomm stadium, the Bills squashing the Seahawks, not to mention a
"no more Brady". Wahhhh! I can almost feel the pain for Pats fans, but here in the New York town, we call them the Rats, and there is no pity. Ouch, my left knee!
The real test here will be in what Belichick delivers. A great coach will make the right adjustments, a great coach will know exactly what to do, and great coach will always have 'Plan B' for backup.
I can't wait to see what 'Plan B' is; which brings me to my first pick of the week.
Jets VS Patriots
The Jets are favored, but with a new quarterback plan of action and a Pats defense still in tact, the Jets need not sit comfy. With still a Jets questionable offensive line, Bret should be worried. The Pats will be in full force and on a mission; to prove they still pose a threat in this division.
I hope I'm wrong about this pick.
I'm picking the Pats
Colts VS Vikings
Do I dare pick the Colts again? I guess this is even playing ground with both teams loosing in their first week and both quarterbacks playing with preseason knee injuries. But not so fast.
I think the Colts are much better than they displayed last week; they just need to gel.
The Vikings are, well. weak. Show me some love will you!
I'm picking the Colts
Cowboys VS Eagles
This rivalry never gets old.
McNabb exceeded Romo's passing yards last week, but with Dallas playing at home, Cowboy fans are especially fired up for this match up.
The Cowboys want to take this all the way-to playoffs. This division will be exciting to watch; I am leaning toward the Eagles- injury free that is.
In this game, I'm predicting a stronger offensive line from the 'Boys'.
I'm picking Dallas
Green Bay VS Lions
Love what happened in Green Bay last week. Aaron Rogers still has big shoes to fill, but if he remains focused and keeps sneaking into the end zone- watch out!
The Lions at home could be better but after giving up 318 yards rushing last week-ouch, I'm still in pain!
I'm picking the Packers.
I love this game!
