It's time to pass the football! ESPN's own Howie Schwab gives us his opinions on a couple college and pro football questions in this latest edition.

This past weekend was one of the wildest in a long time in college football. With the University of Southern California losing and falling down the ranks, will they have a chance to win it all at the end of the year?

Last year, we had Louisiana State University and Ohio State University lose late and still play for the title. USC needs help now but remember-we aren't even in October yet. The problem is the Pac-10 is a bit down this season so a University of Florida or University of Georgia may have a better shot long term because of the strength of the second.

How will the University of Wisconsin fare their next two weeks with night games against Ohio State and Penn State ?

Losing a 19-0 lead versus the University of Michigan makes the next two weeks pressure packed. I think Wisconsin is capable of bouncing back. Ohio State University dominated on the ground in last year's meeting. Having Beanie Wells back makes the
Buckeyes so tough. Penn State University and Derrick Williams have been impressive.

Who have been some of the biggest surprises in the National Football League so far?

Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans has been an outstanding rookie. Titans quarterback Kerry Collins has been a surprise taking over for an injured Vince Young. Chad Johnson of the Cincinnati Bengals has been a disappointment. The St. Louis Rams should be better.

New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre threw six touchdown passes against the Arizona Cardinals. Will he retire after this year or keep on going?

I think Favre will continue to enjoy football and come back next season if he is healthy. He was bored when he retired and sat on his tractor in Mississippi .
