Has Dallas completely lost their mojo?
Are the Giants really not that great?
The Bills? For real?
Are the Titans the best kept secret in the NFL?
I would not want to be sitting in the Dallas locker room when good ole tongue flapping, Jerry Jones, came barging in. Holy Schmokes!
And then you have to ask yourself, where is the team in a team there? You lose your Quarterback and fall apart-just like that!? Perhaps Terrell missed chanting his new-found prayer for a win.
What was looking like a very heated up NFC East, isn't looking so hot anymore.
But alas, I will not rule out the mighty Giants and there is something more appealing about a 5-1 record, than a Titan 6-0 record.
But when my girlfriend and I were making our weekly 'Post Line' picks, I said the very same thing some analysts said on Sunday morning; "Are the Titans the best kept secret in the league?". I think so!
With both a running game and a strengthening defense, they produce like Super Bowl contenders. And for that story, I find them quite appealing, delicious indeed!
In week eight, we'll get to witness a Titan win or lose, divisional tie breakers, and see if the Bills are for real as they start their first of three games against their divisional rivals.
I'm already sitting on the edge of my seat!
On to my top four picks for week #8.
Steelers vs Giants
Both teams are 5-1.
Both teams really haven't had that tough a schedule.
The Giants may be the toughest for the Steelers so far, and like wise.
The Steelers have held back more points, but the Giants Offense looks better.
Watch out for bad boy Plaxico Burress, who will play his old team, and an aggressive Hines Ward.
The Steelers be looking tough as nails.
I'm picking the Steelers.
Bills vs Dolphins
And there off!
If only the Dolphins could have kept their game on as the Bills have, we'd see a real divisional revival of these two going at it. But the Dolphins seem to be going back to where they have been; a fantasy waiting to happen. Oiy! Give me more!
The Bills are on fire, and you have to give it up for Trent Edwards, who came off a concussion in week five. But wait, isn't once a concussion always a concussion??
The Bills momentum gained after playing the Chargers, will play out in this game. I say the Bills are for real!
I'm picking the Bills.
Cowboys vs Buccaneeers
To figure out the Cowboys right now, is like figuring out what new boo-hoo Terrell will come up with.
If Jerry Jones has anything to do with it, you can bet they will be playing different than in last weeks embarrassing defeat against the Rams. Or isn't that Wade Phillips' job? It's got to be tough to be a part of that ball club. Ouch!
And then we have the Bucs who are at the top in the NFC South; the next best division to watch.
One would likely pick Dallas at home, but Romo's pinkie winkie is still ouchie wowchie!
And I love the upsets.
I'm picking the Bucs.
Panthers vs Cardinals
The Panthers are also holding their own in the NFC South.
And look at the Cardinals; a surprise in the West!
Kurt Warner has a voice again.
Although it's best to look ahead, I still think the Panthers should have won the Super Bowl against the Pats. The have more weapons than what they get credit for. Meowwww!
I'm picking the Panthers.
I Love This Game!
