Last week's victories had heads turning, coaches fired, and a player once again, crying the blues. Or the one we all know too well-yes, I'm talking about Terrell Owens. Quote: "I came out of my route and the ball was going elsewhere .". Boo-hoo, is all I have to say.
Gee wiz Terrell, you had 17 opportunities with only 7 catches. I think it's called, "double team protectors" and they won't be going away any time soon.
Yes your great, we love great athletes, but cry babies, please! Your deflating my mojo and loosing your "Tighty-Whities"; it's just not pretty.
Take note: there's no 'i' in team and we ladies watch from a 360 degree perspective.
But week four brought some exciting upsets, and there's a brand new look within the AFC & NFC standings: the Bills, the Titans, Washington and Carolina . I can't wait to see how the Patriots answer their last defeat and if Miami is "for real".
And this is just the beginning!
On to my picks for Week #5.
Broncos vs Bucs
So the Broncos get cut off from their winning streak, leaving them embarrassed in Chief town . With four ugly turnovers, I hope they learned a lesson.
But with Tampa bay showing force down the stretch, and a greater defense, I think they are making a lot of noise in the NFC south.
I'm picking the Bucs.
Jaguars vs Steelers
Its hard to believe the Steelers are 3-1? And it's got to hurt when your own hometown starts ah, booing you.
You have to be made of steel to take that.
Can you imagine if that overtime field goal didn't go in? Ewww!
In their last two games, they look to be falling apart, or is this another case of a Quarterback gone bad, and an overzealous contract?
With that money, he could assist the broken down stock market. Ouch! Did I really just come up with that brilliant idea? More grand football contracts or more fallen shares, hmm, makes you think eh.
And then we have the Jaguars, who might be showing promise. Hey, they defeated the Colts! And I like the nice calls on converting two fourth downs. Delicious indeed.
I'm picking the Jags.
Giants vs Seahawks.
The Giants should come out in style after coming off a bye, a big 3-0, and with much more to show.
But this should now be a good match-up; the Seahawks will be showing up hopefully stronger, with two of their wide receivers, Branch and Engram, back in the line up and right tackle, Sean Locklear, who will help against the bullying Giants defense.
But Giants bad boy Buress, is suspended from Sunday's game.
Ques: is this the right thing to do for the sake of the whole team, or do we go with, "in order to be a part of the team , you gotta show up"?
Ques: do you think he would have been suspended if it was Dallas coming to town?
I love upsets, but more so, I'm just not trusting the Giants for this one.
I'm picking the Seahawks.
Ravens vs Titans
The Ravens are showing up big time and then you have the mighty Titans at 4-0. Groovy baby!
I am looking forward to this match-up.
The Ravens are quite forceful, but the Titans are showing one of the best defenses in the league.
Should this pick for the love of home field advantage for the Ravens, or will the Titans focus on a record standing they haven't had?
I'm thinking this division could be All Titans!
I'm picking the Titans.
I love this game!
