After last week, I'd say you just got warmed up for the most exciting weekend in Football.
But wait, what about the Super Bowl?
By then you'll know who's going. By then, all the guessing is pretty much over. No fun in that.
And do we not live from week to week, for the unexpected, the excitement of every game?
It's the Divisional playoffs, the best of the best, and we still have a lot more screaming, cheering and upsets to happen!
And we still have our list of picks.
And here in lies my dilemma. Asking me to pick this week, is like asking me to pick between Daniel Day- Lewis, and Johhny Depp. I mean, jeez Louis, can't I have both?!
I'm just saying, you know. coming from a Women's perspective and all.
On to my Picks for Divisional Playoffs, 2008'
Seahawks VS Packers
You should know by now, my man Bret, is just that; ma man! I can't bare the thought of him not going the distance. Not now!
After watching Seattle last week, I'd say they have a lot to hope for. And to watch Mike Holmgren go back to his old team makes this game even more hyped up.
But the Seahawks haven't played well as visitors.
I say Bret gets back in the saddle again, and serves me the best wine and cheese ever!
Home field advantage has some great perks.
I'm picking the Packers.
Jaguars VS Patriots
What did I tell you about the Jags? Still going strong!
Can anyone say Taylor and Jones-Drew?
These two teams are stacked with 'playmakers'.
With these two players, the Pats are facing a different Jags team than last season.
I'm picking the Jags.
San Diego VS Colts
Marvin Harrison, Tony Gonzalez, Joseph Addai, and Peyton Manning?
You figure it out.
Giants VS Cowboys
How loud with Dallas fans be on Sunday? They will Rock the house! This is such a rivalry within the division.
After watching the Giants last week, and the week before, they were impressive. Eli was playing his best games. Although he still makes me very nervous with his inconsistency, the team is strong.
Terrell Owens will most likely be out with a sprained ankle, which only takes a bite out of the Dallas offense.
Dallas has many more key players. My question is; were they really not playing in that last game against the 'Skins', or did they really falter?
I'm going for another upset pick here folks.
I'm picking Giants.
I love this game!
