This week will have me chewing Copenhagen while watching the Chargers battle the Broncos, frothing at the mouth with the thought of another Matt Ryan victory, and drinking Yagamiester so that I can bury myself if the Jets lose to Miami !

It'll be like watching a bunch of mini Super Bowls, with each playoff contender fighting for their life. Yikes! I'm sitting on pins and needles!

On to my picks for week #17.

Broncos @ Chargers

If you remember their last match up in week 2, a 39-38 victory for the Broncos, then you know the Chargers want this game back!

But there's more: two great quarterbacks, but only one got picked to go to the Pro Bowl. It wasn't Rivers. Ouch! What were they thinking?

And after this game, one team takes the AFC West, the other will be eliminated. There are no more chances.

After week 14, the Broncos looked to take the division. But it looks a lot different now.

I'm picking the Chargers.

Dolphins @ Jets

Who will take over the AFC East?

With Bret throwing interceptions, and the defense still making holes instead of blocking them, one would think they are doomed to take on the 'new Dolphins'.

The Dolphins are on a roll, and this will be more than icing on the cake if Chad succeeds in 'sticking it to them', at Giants Stadium.

This is a fight tooth and nail game, and will be tough down the stretch.

It could be as far as the Jets go. I'm losing faith.

I'm picking the Dolphins.

Cowboys @ Eagles

These two always go at it! Dallas can win a Wild Card berth. The Eagles need to bring out all the stops to have any chance at a playoff spot. McNabb could probably return next year.

It's one crippled team against another.

I think the Eagles have a whole lot more at stake.

Giants @ Vikings

The Giants victory last week was exhaustive to watch, but ended with a big "W".

The question is, will they play all their key players knowing they own their division?

The Vikings still control their own destiny, but have just came off an embarrassing defeat against the Falcons.

A win for the Vikings means they clinch the NFC North.

I'm picking the Vikings.
