"Has Plaxico Burress played his last game with the Giants?"
OMG! Should that even be a question!? Hello-o-o!
And now that the Giants have laid their hand, enter-Lawyer (Benjamin Brafman) playing, "the Lawyer", comments on that decision; "I think it was unnecessary.. unfair..on balance, it was not necessary because he hasn't been convicted of any crime yet".
Are you kidding me! "Convicted yet?" He did commit a crime!
It's the final blow to the Giants. This has to be it-done, gone, bye-bye!
But as much as the Giants are not responsible for Buress's actions, you have to question their decisions in continuing to elevate a 'damaged goods' player who has been disrespectful from the get-go.
Ques.: Is it the NFL's responsibility to council disturbed boys that can run, jump and catch a ball? Is their not another camp for them?
Surely there are much less troubled athletes out there that would give their heart and soul and RESPECT, if they had the opportunity to play for the NFL.
And now that I have that off my chest-ahhh! Let's continue with something positive.
The Giants have proven they can win games without Burress. They have played with great adversity and remain focused.
Now that they finally let him go, they can move on!
On to my picks for Week #14.
Buccaneers @ Panthers
Take a look at the NFC south! With Atlanta playing so well, they just might push one of these two teams aside. Meaning, one unexpected Wild Card!
The Panthers are making big plays, and Delhomme is oh-so-hot right now. The Bucs have played with consistency, but I am going with the cats at home on Monday Night Football!
I'm picking the Panthers.
Cowboys @ Steelers
We got game here! After the Steelers victory over the Patriots last week, let's hope their egos don't get in the way. Or maybe it should?
The Steelers can beat a Dallas running game, but can the Cowboys hold the Steelers back? You can bet this will not look like a Dallas/Seattle match-up. Romo's had it pretty easy since his return, but playing the Steelers will be the real "pinky power test".
Dallas will not be liked in Steelers town.
I'm picking the Steelers.
Vikings @ Lions
I can't imagine the Lions going out without a win. Am I in denial?
But wait! The Vikings defense could be without two important members, Kevin Williams and Pat Williams and this could be the win for the Lions! Let's rally around the Lions and give them one big Obama chant, "Yes We Can!".
Its now or never Lions!
I'm picking the Lions.
Eagles @ Giants
The rivalry of the NFC East!
After all the commotion this week, you can bet the Giants have a whole lot more to prove than the fact they will clinch the division.
And just when McNabb was trying to pull himself out of a whole, this will not be pretty for Eagles fans.
The Giants are playing too well to lose this one; with or without two players.
I'm picking the Giants
