HOLDING! Ahhhh!

Does that call make you scream or what!? At the top of your lungs!

One of the worst cases is watching a special teams' player running back, with all his guts and glory -a good 89 yards, or more! Only to find out there's a flag on the play, because YOUR TEAM MATE WAS HOLDING!

Makes me want to jump right into the TV screen and slap that guy up side the head. I bet you can relate.

And there are many more screaming "Holding" calls that get right under my skin at some of the most crucial times in the game.

So here's what I'm thinking would be great payback;

Fine the buggers! And call it the, "Getting Snuffed Fine". All special teams players get to fine their teammate whenever a special teams' player is literally snuffed of his hard earned running yards. How about a $10,000 fine for every 20 yards taken away. To make it even more thoughtful, handcuff the bad boy to the end zone pole, hold him there for a good half hour, and tickle the money under his nose.

I wonder how many "Special Team Coaches" have ever had that thought before.

I'll put money on it.

On to my Picks for Week #11

Bengals VS Cardinals

Last week the Cards were favored over the Lions and as it turned out they won. I picked them because of their defense.

This week the Cards are the underdog against the Bengals. I don't get it; having a 'stuck on stupid' moment here-yikes!

I say the Cardinals want it more and that their defense will prevail again! After all, they are only one step away from leading the NFC West.

Eagles VS Dolphins

The Eagles are about as reliable as asking a man to call two days in advance for a dinner date.

Miami has to win at least one game this year.

I'll take the underdog pick.

Texans VS Saints

The Houston Texans still have a couple of more years before they move to the top of the AFC South. They are better, but I don't think this is a victory over a Saints team that just lost after coming out of a four game winning streak. After all, they scored 22 fourth quarter points against the Rams. A bit late, but I say they put that one the board by the third quarter of Sunday's game.

Now there's a brave call.

Packers VS Panthers

I'm not too sure the points that my yummy Packers are giving up, will show up. But I do think this is yet another win for my man, Bret. Oh, come a little closer so I can kiss those rosy cheeks. Bravo!

Every time you win, you're like a kid in a candy shop. I feel like I'm your candy. Most consumed.

Last week I celebrated with a David Bruce Pinot Noir, and had a fine gruyere cheese.

As the weeks go on and the Packers keep winning, I am working my way up to a fine Brunello and Il Boschetto al Tartufo .
