Monday night football! OMG! It's confirmed, the Pats can be beaten. Okay, so they didn't lose, but were you sitting on the seat of your pants during the whole fourth quarter-like up to the last seconds??
Or if you were me, you were standing in front of the TV, screaming at the top of your lungs-again!
My note to all the next contenders-take a long hard study at what the Ravens did; they had them right in the palm of their hands. But much to their own demise, they screwed it up! Reminds me of my dinner date the other night; had me all excited, thinking this was a home run, and then bam! He starts picking his teeth with his fingers! He lost all composure, and I lost my lost my mojo.
I'm just saying, you know. coming from a Women's perspective and all.
On to my picks for week #14.
Eagles VS Giants
Here we go again! Always a rivalry with these two.
Their first meet up in week four was at the Meadowlands, the Giants defeated the Eagles 16-3. But you never know from one week to the next, who will show up.
That pretty much goes for the Eagles too.
The Giants want this more with a good chance at a Wild Card playoff game, and have played well on the road. But the Eagles are favored. Ahhh!
I think I need to toss another coin. Giants heads, Eagles tails.
Be right back. Okay, it's Eagles ball.
I'm picking the Eagles.
Patriots VS Steelers
Do I dare pick against the Pats again? This is defense vs. offense and the record shows, defense beats offense! The Steelers show face, but are inconsistent. But wait! They've messed up the Pats winning streak before. Remember that?
If I were to bet on the Steelers, and I usually play for dinner, not money; I live in the Big Apple, and make dinner bets, and 'a night out on the town' bets, not money, silly. This could be my biggest night out, wouldn't you say.
I'm picking the Steelers.
Seahawks VS Cardinals
Both teams want this! Cardinals, because they still have a pinch of a chance for a Wild Card, and Seattle wants to seal the deal for the division title, and keep the hope of a Super Bowl. They had their chance didn't' they? I don't see them in the Super Bowl this year either, but go ahead, surprise me!
I'm picking Seattle
Packer VS Raiders
After last week, I think my wine got corked and the cheese has turn into one big ball of mold. I'm really trying to get through the disappointment, but I know the it won't go away any time soon. At least, not until the Packers meet the 'Boys' again in January. The question is, are they back on track for a game against a Raiders team that is on a roll.
If Bret plays on Sunday, I still question his game. He's got two injuries. I say, go for the recovery, get better for playoff time, and let Aaron Rodgers gives us a few more touchdowns.
I'm picking the Packers
I love this game!
