NFL Picks Week Three
The NFL season has been everything a fan can ask for.
That is unless you’re a Panthers, Titans, Jaguars, Patriots, Cowboys, Redskins, Browns, Chiefs, Rams or Lions fan.
Many of those teams have not lived up to their hype and in the case of the Lions, they are doing a fine job of living down to their fans expectations. Gone, Matt Millen, gone. Found, Matt Stafford?
Oh the pain of being on an infinite losing streak.
But there is a light at the end of the Lion’s long and dark tunnel.
That light comes in the form of this week’s opposition, they play the Redskins!

CLEVELAND @ BALTIMORE – Pick Ravens..tougher now that they have Flacco
TENNESSEE @ NYJETS – Pick Titans..Rex’s mouth writes a check Sanchez can’t cash
GREEN BAY @ ST LOUIS – Pick Packers..The Packer’s D better protect Rodgers
SAN FRANCISCO @ MINNESOTA – Pick Niners..This will define the Niners season. Physical with an F!
JACSONVILLE @ HOUSTON – Pick Texans..What the heck is wrong with Del Rio’s team?
ATLANTA @ NEW ENGLAND – Pick Patriots..Tom Terriffic is tired of all the talk. This will be a shoot out.
NYGIANTS @ TAMPA BAY – Pick NY Giants.. The G Men will make the Bucs cry uncle
KANSAS CITY @ PHILADELPHIA – Pick Eagles..With or without Donovan, Kolb or Vick, they get the W
CHICAGO @ SEATTLE – Pick Bears..Da Bears are going go after Hasselbeck or Wallace.
NEW ORLEANS @ BUFFALO – Pick Bills..the Saints are hot but I feel a W coming on for the Bills.
MIAMI @ SAN DIEGO – Pick Chargers.. The Chargers have the talent but LT and Turner’s days may be numbered.
DENVER @ OAKLAND – Pick Raiders..The Broncos have had the Raiders number for years. They win in spite of JaMarcus!
PITTSBURGH @ CINCINNATI – Pick Steelers..Bengals won last week, surprise. Steelers lost last week, surprise. Steelers won’t lose this game.
INDIANAPOLIS @ ARIZONA – Pick Colts..The Colts Defense has to shut down Kurt. They will do it.
CAROLINA @ DALLAS – Pick Cowboys..Panthers fans have lost confidence in Delhomme. Cowboys fans and Tony Dorsett have lost confidence in Romo. I like a bounce-back from Romo more than a bounce-back from Delhomme.
I picked the Lions over the Redskins not so much for the Lions but against the Redskins.
Daniel Snyder has opened his wallet, gone back to the Redskins coaching past, and still, the Redskins just can not seem to get it done.
I suspect Jim Zorn will be replaced at the end of the season unless by some miracle they can turn this season around.
Look for a veteran coach to give it a shot.
Bill Cowher, Jon Gruden, Mike Holmgren, or some other ex-coach playing the waiting game as he works from the broadcast booth.

I agree femmefan a lot of surprises this week. The big talk coming from NY on how Rex an Sanchez took out the Pats. Didn’t see that one coming. I went 11-5 last week giving me and overall of 24-8 for the season so far. I’ve been keeping track of you too femme your 22-10 for the season. However the seasons only begun so here are my picks for this week.
Chiefs v.s. Eagles- Pick Eagles, Vick wins in his debut in an Eagles uni
Packers v.s. Rams- Pick Packers, I like the Rams but their not stepping it up.
49ers v.s. Vikings- Pick Vikes, Bret’s still got it
Titans v.s. Jets- Pick Titans, Tenessee’s last two opponents barley won. They take their frustrations out on the rookie Sanchez.
Falcons v.s. Patriots- Pick Pats, The Brady Bunch seeks redemption.
Jaguars v.s. Texans- Pick Texans, Jags have lost their spunk.
Giants v.s. Bucs- Pick G-Men, Tampa is wishing they stayed with Garcia right now.
Redskins v.s. Lions- Pick Skins, Stafford has not lived up to the hype.
Browns v.s. Ravens- Pick Ravens, Flacco looked great and will have a repeat performance.
Bears v.s. Seahawks- Pick Da Bears, They’re going to use the momentum they have from knocking off the defending champs going into next week.
Saints v.s. Bills- Pick Saints, Drew Brees will have another MVP caliber day.
Dolphins v.s. Chargers- Pick Chargers, have a feeling that Rivers is going to have a good game.
Broncos v.s. Raiders- Pick Broncos, Kyle Orton still needs to prove his worth and will do it against Oakland.
Steelers v.s. Bengals- Pick Steelers, They’re going to show why they are the champs.
Colts v.s. Cardinals- Pick Colts, This game is coming down to who has the better defense.
Panthers v.s. Cowboys- Pick Cowboys, Marion Barber all night.
